  1. Ouch Terrie, why do you say such things? This is a niced forum for a chance for you and me and all of out there to exchange ideas and get asnwers to questions that need answering. YOU know that you are not really looking for an answer just trying to prod the HD bashers and of course you succeeded onced again. Live and let live regrdless of what bike you own or ride....My My .....No oil on the floor/no oil pans under the scooter and no problems with the scooter in genreral. ALL of the makers out there are putting a fine product on the road and NONE of them leak

  2. i guess you can call it an oil pan, its a used bedpan....

  3. I put a pan under mine at 5000 miles.

    And again, 5000 later.

and again, and again... the darn thing's never put away long enough to lose it.

    Garage? What's a garage?

Ride in the rain, wrench in the rain...

  4. You obviously are not very knowledgeable about motorcycles.

You still think Harleys are built like they were in the old AMF days of the late 70s

    The new Harleys don't leak.

  5. Mine doesn't leak oil.  Are you just trying to stir things up or do you really not know anything about Harleys?

  6. terrie, thats not oil on your garage floor, your hubby has been drinking again & couldnt make it to the washroom

  7. Well, do you live under that bridge all year? or just during summer.

  8. Mine doesn't leak and neither does Holli's sidecar.

Renee's bike has a little primary leak , like one nickle size drop when it's hot , but certainly nothing worthy of an oil pan.

  9. The only reason there is a Harley-Davidson company is because of AMF.

They tell you Harleys don't leak because they choose to think of it as as continuous oil change.

  10. Terrie, you haven't joined the dark side have you? After 26 metric bikes I have owned two Harley's so far and I can honestly say there has never been a drop of oil in my garage.

  11. Did Magz change his avatar and screen name?

  12. what did cornhole or ninegaythings hijack your account?

never worry about it, a cared for bike doesn't drip anything but attitude

  13. My harley doesn't leak.

  14. I've had five different Harleys in my garage (two of mine, two of a friends, and my husbands) in my garage over the past seven years. I have no oil on my garage floor. None. Not even from my lawn mower.

The days of Harleys being oil leakers was prior to the Evolution engine days. We are speaking Panheads here- from a time that was probably before you were even born.

Little girl, you don't know squat about motorcycles, do you?

  15. I only get a drop on the floor after I do an oil change otherwise not a single drop of oil comes out of my bike

  16. that old cliche went out years ago. With the advent of good gasket material, the leaks stopped. Which we riders and owners knew and fixed ourselves. I've owned 5 harleys, and none of them leaked a drop.

I did have a rice burner that leaked like a sieve, but that's because the previous owner didn't know squat about maintaining a bike. It took me all of 2 hours to resolve that problem.

  17. Maddog needs to have a talk with you, young lady.
