If you understand English, please tell me what "Caiafa" means in Italian and do you know any Caiafa's?

  2. May be it's " 'cc'hai a' fa' "

    It is a dialectal form (from Southern Italy) so it can be written in many ways .

    It means more or less "What you have to do?/what you can do?"

  3. Suor Ugo may be right, even though usually what he's talking about would be "C'aggia fa'' (I don't really know how to write it, and I'm italian!)

    Caiafa however is also the italian name for the high priest Caiaphas mentioned in the Bible (Matthew 26:3). You'll find it spelled Caifa or Caiafa in Italian Bibles.

    (I don't know any Caiafas).

  4. "Cafè"???????? Caiafa = sounds Arab to me.
