To all PS3 Gamers, what is the best online PS3 Game Out There?

I'd say Call of Duty 4, but I'm assuming you're talking about exclusives.

I'd go with either Resistance: Fall of Man or Warhawk

Resistance- 40 players online, real intense, ability to play as human or Chimera with different abilities ( Humans can crouch, Chimera can see through walls, etc.), cool weapons too

Warhawk- So much variety, there's countless ways to blow up your enemies, the Sixaxis control is actually pretty good in this game but they don't force you to use it, 32 players online

But Resistance 2 and Massive Action Game... 60 player and 256 player online! ( respectively) Those games will probably surpass Resistance and Warhawk

Ofcourse best online game will be COD 4. But lets move away from the same old same old shooters a bit. For me, I think Hot Shots Golf O.B. (or Everybody's Golf in europe) is the best PS3 game to play "online". The reasons as:

- You are virtually presence in the lobby, where you can walk around many lobbies to choose from and talk to other players in real time.

- Create your own character with extra accessories you won from tournaments.

- You can create a game room of your rule choice, where you can take turns playing or everyone playing at same time.

- You can join a GF fun tournament with up to 50 players at same time.

- You can compete in real tournments where you'll win prizes to edit your character.

- Since its virtual lobby, you can meet people easier and check out the high ranked players and challenge them on spot.

- New course and characters is available to buy in PSN.

- It never lags with me, even my brother was player COD4 in his room under same dsl network.

yes yes Golf is boring. but never Judge before you Try.

Right now COD4 is the best online game for PS3.  I have read previews for Killzone 2 and they weren't giving K2 a very good review.  When Resistance 2 comes out it will beat COD4.  The problem with COD4 is that every game is a ranked match.  If you could change the settings more it would be a lot better.  MAG looks pretty cool but also looks like total chaos.

My favorite online play is Call of duty 4 here's why.

Great and orgaznized ranking system.

Weapon challenges gives you something to work for.

Weapon upgrades give you the ability to customize your weapon to your liking and creativity.

There are 550 levels total if you presitge. So it is long.

Very easy to find a match lots of people on all the time.
