  1. I don't think of her as royalty that is for sure.  However she is not totally to blame for the failure of the marriage of Charles and Diana.

  2. Neither. Just old, upper class crumpet.

  3. Most people despise her and charles.

She has zero influence although there has been a big propaganda effort on her behalf

  4. Some still see her as a homewrecker while others are willingly to forget  past trangressions. Some of the older, more established families than the Shands(Camilla's family name) can be quite s****. to the "newer" aristocracy, but in general, Camilla operates by the rules of the gentry.

Camilla is more interested in supporting her husband than stealing the limelight. She has a few medical-interests causes that she is involved with.

  5. I don't see her as a home wreaker because I think Charles was already in love with her before he married Diana, and consequently that marriage was doomed to failure. It was a sad business, but I don't think Camilla could be blamed for it entirely.  I just think of her as Charles's wife.

  6. The people of the UK now see what happened all those years ago with hindsight. We see that Charles was forced to marry into the old way of the monarchy working with his "pure" wife chosen for him and a mistress as well. It was bound to fail from the start and since then tings have changed William is expected to marry a girl from the middle classes!

It was a tragic tale but bound to happen neither of them were bad or wrong and Camilla was just there to be blamed for destroying the publics fairytale.

She has little influence and has always been upper class and they stick together. She is now seen Royalty and is accepted although may never be loved or even liked.

  7. all I see her as is the woman who is now married to a man she loves and whom loves her in return ............................... the path to that was pitted  but .................... they are there now
