To all atheists/agnostics who want answers!?

1. How is it that evolution has so much credibility when there is no known cross speciation fossil to colaborate it's theory. Where is the missing link(S). Not just man, but any species in any kingdom, phylum, genus order?

2. How is it that you presume to know the truth of it all when you can not even fathom the heights of our universe nor the depths of sub-atomic particles? There is also the unseen!

3. How is it that the scriptures and prophecies are 100% accurate on all accounts from the begining of civilization until today? There are thousands of them! E-mail me and I will list some of them for you!

4. In your pride do you not have that missing part of your life that you know is there? I am not condemning you, but realize your need as I have that need too, as well as every other sinner on Earth. We need the missing piece, it is the atonement of our sins that is found inside of Christ Jesus.

5. All who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved!

  1. Asked by the person who bases their life on a book... OKAY!

  2. ha ha ha.

  3. You just got me saved, but all the sudden i feel like i'm annoying and dumber.

  4. Wow.  There's a whole lot more question in why you believe that creationism is true.  It's far more believable to see evolution taking place than biblical creationism.

Can you see that men invented the whole thing because they didn't understand why things happened.

Also, the creation stories are based on older mythology that existed in different forms in other cultures before the bible was written.  Can't you see that they just believed what their father's told them.  Like nursery stories before bed.

Read about evolution.  Maybe if you were fully informed then you'd understand it.

  5. why is it that people like you care so much about the way others live their lives?????  who cares, just do what your god wants and be happy.  dosent that make sense???

and honestly whats worse someone who dosent belive in god, or someone who prays to and worships a god,  but then sins everyday?????

  6. I am a Christian but I still feel it is necessary to let you know that:

evolution is a proven fact, The whole thing about needing a cross speciation fossil is bull.

And ask you, where did God come from? What was there before there was anything.

Further more when was the last time scientist asked me for anything. The things you believe we told to you by a man that then told you would go to h**l if you didn't believe him and to prove you believe him put some money in a plate as it comes your way.

  7. You claimed to have studied all this, where was this at, where are you facts to all this rambling, you said a lot but, didn't say anything?

  8. 1. Evolution at least has some credibility in that it has some evidence to back it up. You're right; the "missing link" has yet to be found. But we do know that mutations within a given species does happen. It has been shown in a laboratory using bacteria and fruit flies (both of which have short life spans, so very fast results) and in the wild with the various strains of viruses that have become immunie to antibiotics (like penicillin).

    2. Anyone who claims to know "the truth of it all" is a fool. 100 years ago we didn't know the composition of the moon; now we do. 100 years from now, we may have a firm grasp on sub-atomic physics and the depth of the universe. Growth of knowledge is an ongoing task.

    3. Scriptures are 100% accurate? In what way? Following the Council of Nicea I don't trust anything in the Bible as being untainted by Man's desire to create an institution that self-validates.

    4. I don't buy the "all men are sinners" position and without that agreement the rest of your statement is nonsensical.

    5. Not a question, demands no response.

  9. emil me those prophecies qma1m2@hotmail.com

  10. well i'm not an atheist, but i have the remarkable ability to see both sides of an argument.  i am now trying to see it from your point of view but i cant stick my head that far up my @ss.

    1) you say that there is no cross speciation fossil to collaborate (you spelled that wrong by the way) its theory.  there are no missing links but just all the species that currently exist?  ok firstly, you cant blame them for not having proof of their claims.  most religions of the world believe a book that was written by people who thought the earth was flat over scientific proofs!  as far as why there are no missing links.... links between what?  between the future species it is to become and the species it came from in the past perhaps?  species diverge because of environmental changes.  they diverged for a reason.  the other species probably died out because they did not diverge.  thats survival of the fittest for you.

    2) they never said they knew the truth of it all.  science is a study where you take everything that you know and put it together with everything that you discover to draw conclusions.  we know that when two people that have blond hair brown eyes and long legs marry, their children will have those same characteristics.  if those children marry other people like them, their children will be even more likely to be like them, because other genes dont get in the way.  now imagine that something happened to all black and brown haired people that made them unable to reproduce.  the entire world would be nothing but blond haired people, save for random genetic defects like albinism.  they took something that everyone knows, put it together with scientific fact, and made a conclusion.  also, i might add, the universe has no definite height.  we believe (believe, the word that you would like to use so much) that the universe is infinite.  we know it is indeed expanding, and suspect that the outer reaches are expanding faster than light (there is a login explanation as to why Einsteins theory of relativity doesnt apply here like it normally would, so i am not about to explain it to you, but you can use a search engine if you want) also, we do indeed believe in the unseen.  dark matter is undetected, and we presume it might not exist, but there is always the chance.  we ourselves know our own limitations in proving things, and only pass off as fact the things we actually know.

    3) this part honestly made me laugh.   like what?  i will indeed e-mail you dont worry about that.

    4) well if we are missing something, we have a tendency of retracing our steps so we can find it.  this is another occasion where you have no proof of something, and pass it off as if it is standing next to you.  we at least see how evolution might not be the case, how it might have taken place in a different (logical) way, but you are passing things off as if they are there!  you cant see them.  do you realize how easy it is to write a book of morals?  look at Aesop's fables.  how long ago was that written?  it doesnt even seem plausible, otherwise you would have people worshiping the animals in that book.

    5) more power to you.  i'm not an atheist, but you need to know what the h**l you're saying before ridiculing the enemy.  i am driven by the mere word of what religion is: faith.  faith is highly illogical, and should technically not be applied to the world.  just so you know.

edit:  YOU SAW WHAT AN ATOM LOOKS LIKE? oh really?  are you sure it has nothing to do with the some 30 trillion pictures flashing through your brain while you sleep, and one of them happened to be a picture that you remember from a physics book?  no one ever said that peace and compassion was  a bad thing.  and its kinda funny coming from a god that will send you to h**l for eternity if you disobey him... but he loves you!!!  anger and strife are sources of violence and such, no one ever said otherwise.  and i can tell you right now, you are going to find answers on yahoo! as to why people believe in things they can touch and see, when you yourself are so narrow-minded that you choose not to believe anything other than the first thing someone tells you.  if someone tells you two things, you believe what was said first.  I swear, if a golden streak fell from the sky and landed in front of you and popped up and said "I dont exist" you would say you were dilusional (i would too) but arent you already deluded in writing this "question" ??

  11. Another one. And there is no proof that any of those fairy tales in the bible are true. Who in the right mind would believe the Noah/Ark story, or the parting of the sea, or water into wine. The Wizard of oz is more believable.

And why do you put your faith in some man made god rather than just believe in yourself? oh because then you don't have to be held responsible for your actions.

  12. 1. The fossil record does show evidence of transition forms. This is a rather old argument, and it's just plain outdated. I've always been much more interested in the argument of irreducible complexity.

    2. No one here is presuming to know the truth of it all. Most of us are making interpretations on the available physical evidence. Anthropologists don't tend to care about subatomic particles, for instance.

    3. Point out the scripture that gives the exact age of the Earth, and we'll talk. Not some indirect figure based on lineage, but a date that can be compared to an existing calendar. Then we'll talk. About geology. As a bonus, point out the scripture that says we should not trust our measurements of the physical world around us. Things like geology are pretty straightforward.

    4. I'm a Christian, thanks.

    5. Ok.

As an addition, I would urge you to look at your words here. A more prideful tone I have not seen in awhile.

  13. there is something seriously missing from your life.

  14. I've always wondered about the lack of transitional fossils myself, it would seem like there should be billions of them.  I don't think of myself as a creationist though because clearly all animal life did not arise at the same time.

  15. See how people are turned away?

  16. I kinda agree. Like if I didn't have something I strongly believed in, I think I would feel like there was something missing on my life. Like what my real goal should be or why do we even exist and stuff. I am still trying to figure some stuff out, but I like to stay open minded. But I like finding out for myself and people giving me non biased facts when I look for them. I don't want to be influenced by another mere human.

  17. 1. You are wrong.

    2. Only a fool would claim to know everything. No offense.

    3. Wrong again.

    4. Wrong, yet again.

    5. ... and again.

  18. "2. How is it that you presume to know the truth of it all when you can not even fathom the heights of our universe nor the depths of sub-atomic particles? There is also the unseen!"

this statement also applies to you.

  19. 1. There needent be a "missing link".  We can see microevolution happening everyday.  It's not hard for that to be extended to macroevolution.  Besides, with humans, how much more of a link do you want?  You go from the austrolapithecines (pretty ape like) to halibis and erectus (pretty human like).  Not to mention the DNA aspect of it all.  If evolution didn't occur, why do we share 99% of the same DNA as some other primates?  Why do we share genes with bacteria?

    2. We don't presume to know "the truth".  We judge what we believe to be true based on the evidence available.  There is more evidence for evolution than there is for god - sorry.

    3. I'm not sure how you figure scripture is 100% accurate.  First off, it has been transcribed through thousands of years with any number of people changing peices of it.

    4. I do not feel I am missing anything in my life (except maybe a little more s*x lol).  I was miserable when I was going to church and trying to figure out the whole religion thing.  Since leaving the church I am happier than I have ever been.

  20. The last time I answered this type of question the entire question and my answer were deleted.

I think I still got 2 points though.

  21. hey savage lady...you took the words right out of my mouse...i mean mouth  : )......my bad....Lady Savage....

  22. So I hit my thumb with a hammer, and I call on the name of the Lord.  I get a bruised thumb and eternal salvation all at once.  Existence is so bitter-sweet.

  23. What makes you think you know the truth?...Neither side has any solid proof...

  24. This is proof of the narrow road to heaven and I agree because if God did not exist then we could do whatever we want here in this life and not have to answer for it ever again because after death what is there if God does not exist so the explanation is he does and we should do right so we end up in the right place after death

PS your question sounds insulting to those who are atheist so lighten up ur question next time so you get politer answers maybe

  25. YOU MAKE YOUR OWN HEAVEN AND YOUR OWN h**l,MAN HAS BEEN ON THIS PLANET FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS ACCORDING TO THE LATEST FINDS.GREAT RACES,GODS AND CIVILIZATIONS HAVE ALL GONE BEFORE,EQUALLY VOCIFEROUS IN THEIR DOCTRINES AND BELIEFS.IF YOU  DON,T BELIEVE IN A GOD, THEN FOR YOU IT DOES,NT EXIST, NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS MAY BELIEVE,

  26. There are medications these days that help with morbid religiosity and its subsequent delusions.  Seriously.  It is not healthy to be so deluded or unhappy with the truth. There is no goodness in that.

I'm not even gonna bother to remind you that text's can be translated and interpreted many different ways depending on dialect, and motivation.

And for the final salt for your wound, I'm a Roman Catholic, aka 2 by 4 up my butt since birth, and still not blind to others ideas, if only everyone could be so lucky.

Sorry dio, your dumb, there have been 1000's of Egyptian style chariots found at the bottom of the red sea, maybe there is some truth to some myths: is the 'red sea' was only the red stream but when Moses led his people away a flash flood quickly followed and wiped out the Egyptian chariots, did God do it? I don't know, but I know that SCIENCE has found proof that the story has some truth to it.

  31. apparently your lack of knowledge has you blinded between the facts and fiction
