To all men who think women belong in the kitchen and men dont, please tell me why you think this?

Im curious I mean men have legs to they can cook themselves a meal. Dont you think women who cook for men would like to do what you do sit and watch her other half cook for her just because of his gender?

in the prehistoric times it was the men who were bringing the food and cooking. and oh,i find guys who cook to be s**y.

but both cooking wouldn't hurt.

Well see back in the day the man brought in the paycheck which put a roof over the family, it paid the bills, you know  paid for the light so you can see and stuff like that.  So it would only be fair that the woman would cook dinner.  Nowadays though alot of woman have jobs themselves so I believe both men and woman shoud do house work equally.

When women don't work, they don't just sit at home all day. They probably dont have a job because they are raising a family and cleaning the house. It is a lot more work than going and sitting in office all day

Did you ever think that some women may like to cook?  I love cooking, and after a long or bad day at work I can not wait to get home and cook something!  It's really relaxing for me.  

My boyfriend will cook something for himself if I don't, but I like doing it.  I don't care if I'm the only person home, I love cooking!

II saw a girl on some show get a tattoo of a pin up girl cooks and above it was "A woman's place is in the kitchen".  She loved to cook, and while she knew they saying was not true, it was true for her.  I'll never get a tattoo but if I did I'd get that too!

By the way, a whole lot of men do cook... in fact most chefs are male!

If a women is sitting at home all day & not or does not want to work, she should be doing something. If she does work, then both should split the cooking & housework equally. Same as if a guy does not work & the women does.

In many cultures the men do cook - men have to be inspired to want to cook-

The reasons they cook, can be endless.(It's up to women to come up with a good idea) They range from needing to escape and relax, to wanting to perfect their grill-meister skills, to serving as the sole family chef, to being a single parent, to occasionally dabbling in the kitchen just because it's fun. And they all are proud of their dishes, no matter the motivation.

The best way to start a man cooking is Sunday breakfast - or b-b-q, may be persuading him it's great to have a signature dish.

Show him how you cook Pasta or Fish. To-days Renaissance man will probably end up a better cook than you.
