To all psychics? Why do I hate doing my homework so much?

I am not a psychic so this is not specific to you, but I know an awful lot about homework.  There are a lot of reasons you might hate doing your homework.  Pick one.

a)  You don't know how to get the right answers, or you don't understand the vocabulary and can't make sense of what you're reading.  In that case, back up and learn what you need to know.

b)  You have distractions and can't concentrate.  If they're physical, turn them off or find someplace private.  If they're mental/emotional, if they don't relate directly to schoolwork, promise yourself you will deal with them later and look on homework as a chance to escape from them for a while.  If they do relate to schoolwork, figure out how they relate and try to use them to make your homework better/more personal.

c)  You feel like you're being forced to do something you don't want to do.  Make it your own.  Possess it.  Get your feelings into it somehow.  This is the key to getting control over anything you have to do.

Realize that you can make this a source of power for yourself.

Discipline is a source of strength if you're doing it for yourself, for your own reasons.

You don't see the point in doing "homework" that you know won't benefit you in the long run. You're a thinker, smart beyond your years, and far exceed others when it comes to book smarts. Hang in there.

I predict that you will somehow do your homework whether or not you hate it . I also see that you type these questions on this site when you should be doing your homework and that you like to procrastinate.

ahhhh I see you will figure this out just in time to answer this same question from your own child...I could tell you the answer but this is something that comes with maturity and knowledge and you have to learn on your own.

cause home sucks and eveyone hates it which is why im on here instead of reading my book when im on chap 2 and need to be on chap21

well you dont need a physicist to answer this brain buster pretty much humans are lazy and we hate doing work. Homework is work go figure
