  1. It's called pointe.  Do you have any prior dance experience?   if you don't , don't try this!  You can hurt yourself very badly!

  2. its called point.

If you dont know how and dont have someone to teach you.

    DONT TRY IT.

    its VERY dangerous.

    hope i helped

  3. It takes practice.  I worked with elastic bands to build up strength.  It is natural in some people, but it is something you can work up to.  It takes pointing all the way down your leg, including your ankle.

  4. You can get your foot to arch like in that photo, but you can't get it to point like that. I assume from the other answers that you now know about pointe dancing, and shoes. The actual pointe shoe makes the toes look straight like that. Really, when your foot in in the shoe it looks like this:

To get your arch to look like that, try using a theraband, or exercise band. All you do is point and flex your feet with the theraband on it, and it helps your arch. Here's a picture of one:

I found a video on youtube of how a pointe shoes is made. Check it out; it may help you understand what i'm trying to say:

    Have a nice day!!

  5. It's just a matter of stretching your feet to get that arched on your feet.  It is also necessary to build the strength along the way.

Do a lot of eleve, releve, and all those arching feet exercises.

When you are doing your stretches, just make sure you are pointing those feet the best you can do it.

There are also several ways to stretch your feet.

One is: sit on the floor with your feet flat on the floor (thus your knees are bent). Have someone hold your feet down to the floor as you lengthen your knee GENTLY. Go down only as much as you can without pain, but feeling the stretch. Hold it for awhile, and repeat at least 3 times - but don't over do it. Pain equals STOP.

When you are by yourself, you can do that and just imagine someone is helping you hold your foot down.  Same position from the beginning, then lengthen your knee (bring your knee to the floor) gently as you try not to lift your feet.

The other one is a bit more advance for ballet dancer, which you need a lot of flexibility. Not sure what you are capable of, and don't want you be hurt.

  6. it's called pointe dancing.

you need a specific type of shoe, where you can get from a dancewear store. but make sure you're fitted for them by a professional working there. to get that arch takes alot of practice and hard work, because your goal is to go up and OVER your box to fully be on pointe. pointe damages your feet pretty badly over time, so make sure you know what you're in for.

i really don't suggest going onto pointe if you've never had any prior dance experience. try taking a couple ballet classes at a local dance studio to build up strength and help your technique.

    good luck!

  7. Its very very painful. You have to practice alot because when doing pointe You have your whole body weight on the tip of one toe. Also it messes up for feet.
