Hello???  Alaska is not Washington, DC.  This lady has to run with the big dogs now!!!  And McCain's health is not good so if the words "President Palin" give you pause for thought then you probably are in good company.

Obama was a state senator for two terms and was serving his first term as u.s. senator. Palin has been a part-time mayor of a village and governor of Alaska for 2 years. Alaska what is the population there? Probably less than Cleveland Ohio.

I'm sorry, but Obama has been out to visit and speak with world leaders.  Palin has talked with Ted Stevens and Frank Murkowski.  Biden is the chairmen of the senate foreign relations committee.  He will be able to dance circles around her when it comes to dealing with world leaders and national security.  What has Palin done, other than have the title of an executive office, that really actually qualifies her to be VP?  She was Mayor of Wasilla.  Now would you take a person who has experience in the Illinois state senate, the United States senate, as well as his past work advocating for out of work people, and who is out doing what people said he lacked.  Said he hadn't visited troops, so he visited the troops.  Said he didn't have experience talking to world leaders.  So he went to talk to world leaders.  He picked up a great VP who has amazing experience.  Palin has "executive experience", yes.  But she doesn't have experience that actually qualifies her for this.

It does not appear that she has as much relevant experience as Obama but it is unclear, in my opinion, if that disqualifies her as VP choice

Governor = Executive experience

Mayor = Executive and legislative experience

Senator = Legislative experience

President = Executive

She is the only candidate on either ticket with the right experience.
