To all the vodka drinks out there. SKYY, ABSOLUT, OR SVEDKA?

Question

This is to all the vodka drinkers out there. i'm going to get a 1.75 liter of vodka tomorrow and i need to know which is the best quality vodka. the reason why i list these 3 is because i got a 30$ price limit, i can't afford a bottle of grey goose. SO ... SKYY, SVEDKA, OR ABSOLUT? Which is more smooth and does the job. LET ME KNOW WHICH IS BEST OF THE 3 AND WHY? I will go to safeway tomorrow and get it.

Of all the years I bar tended (15) Smirnoff is your best bet. It consistently wins blind taste tests and is much cheaper than the name brands.

i would go with either stoli or smirnoff. ketel one is good, though i know it is expensive, but unsure of the price for 1.75 liters.

Hmm, I would say they are all very comparable. According to taste awards, Skyy would win. But I doubt you could really tell a difference. Also, skyy is supposed to be hangover free. Check out this forum at Liquor Live for some more discussion.

haha its vodka... ur buying a 1.75 so im guessing ur not taking shots, ur mixing. so it doesnt matter, h**l buy two of the cheap vodkas for the same price and the rest on juice. i guess absolute. but d**n..... id go with something besides vodka. and im guessing ur not buying, someone is buying for u. its ok, we all did it. if its a chick that just wants vodka, get her a flavored one.... lmao get em a choice, UV is a weak vodka, but its cheap, and gets the job done. but idk get a couple diff flavors. uv blue and lemonade is called a bomb pop, cuz it taste like the pop sickles, cherry taste like cough medicine, and thats all iv tried, but they got like watermellon, grape, and some other flavors. mix it up man. vodka is vodka, only take shots if is grey goose. if not mix it up and get fuuked up.

I am a vodka drinker and I think out of those 3 SKYY is the best.Where I am from you can get a 1.75 size bottle for $26.99.It goes down smooth too for the price.I think Grey goose is so overrated,and way too expensive.

I think Stoli is the best bang for the buck, but if you are seriously stuck on these three go with absolute. Skyy is c**p, and svedka...? Well vodka!!

Skyy is weed-killer.  

Absolut would be your best bet. Very clean, very crisp.  Even when I can afford more expensive vodkas, I find Absolut to be the best for the money and get that.

I don't have any experience with Svedka, probably because I think so highly of Absolut.

Tito's Handmade Vodka is the best!!!!!!!!  It is just as smooth as grey goose but it's pretty inexpensive  ($28 for 1.75 liter)
