Why do you always leave the toilet seat down. I always have to lift it up whenever I need to pee (when I can be bothered that is) It's Soooooooooooooooooo annoying!!

Once upon a time men liked to behave like gentlemen, they would open doors for women and old people, give up their seat on a bus or train, go outside to f**t, pick their nose in private, not leave skid marks in the pot and leave the seat down when they were finished.

Now a days men behave like morons, teach their sons at a very early age to disrespect everyone, spit in the street and shove old folk onto their ar*es if they get in the way, get drunk and beat anyone up that as much as looks at them. Sound familiar does it?

Because we don't have to stand when we urinate. I mean, I guess we could put it up to accommodate you, but you guys never put it down for us.

You never met my friend Cori, I take it?  She leaves it up A LOT, at least at my house.  I occasionally leave it up, it depends on my mood.

When my brothers use the toilet they leave it up. So when I use it I have to put the seat down. And I leave it down. Then if they want to use it they put it up. It's fair game. And a vicious cycle.

Also, sometimes you guys rush to the toilet to take a c**p, and if we left the toilet seat down, who would you be thanking now? ;P

Sometimes you guys leave the toilet seat up, that's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying. Also, at least we have good aim. How do you miss the whole toilet bowl. Why does it bother you? you pee on the floor anyway hahahaha.

As my mother used to say "Its nice".  Its for the same reason that you close your kitchen cabinet doors and place a napkin on your lap and do a hundred other small things that just make your life a little nicer and less cluttered.  But I don't think that this rule is for just the seat.  I believe that you should close the lid also.  There is a hygienic reason for this since every time you flush massive amounts of bacteria are thrown up into the air in the resulting micro vapor.
