I am trying to sell my new samsung sc-x300 we bought last night... any who, It is originally $400-$700

It is up on craigslist for $200 brand new with everything and a woman sent me the following email:

(((hello Dear, I am writing to know if this item is available and still in good condition. I

will be paying via paypal. kindly accept my offer of $220 plus $100USD for shipping

via EMS .Thanks. )))

Could this be a scam, and should I do it?

  1. I agree with dealing it locally.  Because if the payment does clear, what if the real bank holder says that they didn't make that charge? Then you lose the samsung and get nothing in return.

  2. yes its a scam i have gotten emails like this before, deal locally only. Ive also gotten the emails like, my son wants it for his birthday but he lives in england and stuff like that.

  3. Accept her offer, but don't send anything out until that money has cleared into your bank account. Most likely a scam though.
