To graduate only NEED to take AP I, Cell Bio, Phys II, Genetics, and 2 sem of research. This is my last two semseters, I plan on taking mcat in spring so i was going to go heavy in the fall and light in the spring semester. Originally this was my plan

Fall 2008

Phy II 4 cr

AP I 4 cr

Cell Bio 4 cr

Research 2 cr

Human Disease 3 cr

SPring

AP II 4

Ethics 3

Genetics 4

Res 1

to people who have exp with these courses, Is 17 credits in the fall too much esp with these 4 science courses.. Has anyone taken that much science in one semester and did well..If you were to move one course (or completely drop an unnecessary course for med school preparation) over to another semester which would it be esp with some1 takin mcats (and applying to med school) in spring 09. Wat would b ur Arragnement?...wud it be a bad idea to take phy 2 the same semester as the mcat or complete all pre med requirements the semester b4. Human disease is only offered every 2 yrs and ap 1 is only fall and ap II only spring. everything else is offered both semesters

  1. I think thats a good plan, I've taken 4 science classes and 3 labs in a semester, so if you put your mind to it you can. Cell bio and Phy will help you study for the MCAT, the problem is you aren't taking genetics until you will already be studying for the MCAT. I would take the MCAT at least a month after your last exam in the spring (the end of may is how I did it), that way you will have a chance to review all your genetics. Study 20-40 hours a week for at least 2 months.
