To anyone who has lived in Paris:?

Did you find that you liked other parts of France more than the capital city? I lived in Paris for 4 months and cant begin to like it, but I really enjoyed the other cities i visited.

I lived in Paris three years. Perhaps my favorite city. I found nowhere in France I did not like.

Paris is a beautiful city, but the problem is the typical "Parisians" who seem to be arrogant,selfish, hypocrit and materialistic...

In other cities, people are much more open-minded, respectful and kind...

I lived in Paris for one year and really, really loved it. I also lived in the suburbs but Paris remained attractive to me (even though I cannot stand the crowds). I love big cities, I guess. As for other parts of France, I can understand what you mean. I really loved the other cities I got to visit, Nice and Marseille for example.
