To anyone who has worked at Mcdonalds?

Question

I recently applied, and I am just wondering what it was like. I have to be at the cashier station because you have to be 16 to work with the food. (i am 15 and a 1/2)

well i dont work there. but i know a lot of people who do.

its REALLY busy and u gta keep working non-stop

im from new zealand but im guessing its the same everywhere aye

I was a cashier at McDonalds 31 years ago and we had to write the orders out by hand and add up the tickets too! It was very hectic.

Its a terrible working place and the pay is too little IMO. The only good thing you get is a free meal and if you are on a diet, then you are screwed.

I worked at McDonald's once, many years ago. I'm sure every restaurant is different, even if it's a corporate owned place. If you get in with a good crew of people, you're like family. I think fast food is a great experience for everyone. It's a crash course in customer service, coping with stress and problem resolution. As with any job, a lot of times you'll get out of it what you put into it.
