Have you noticed how the Playtex drop ins system does not measure the water properly or am I crazy? I have to put the water in a separate container and then transfer to the drop in for it to be correct. Also, the drop in only really hold about 6 oz. even though it claims 10. My question, is will I have to switch bottles when she starts taking 8 oz. and do babies become accostomed to only one style of bottle when they get a little older?? Thanks.

  1. Hmmm...I use the platex dropins also but never noticed...I use the expandable liners so im not sure if that is the difference..I pump so theres not really any mesuring needed but ive never noticed when I transfer it to the dropins if there is a difference...Mabey try using the expandable playtex liners...I love these bottles, they are the only ones my son will take

  2. I use these bottles and love them. I do measure in a separate container and then transfer to these bottles to make sure it's accurate.

My baby takes 8 ounces and I use the expandable liners and it works just fine.

  3. I noticed that too. I mix formula in a regular bottle then put it in the platex bottle.
