Do you believe Iran is building a secret nuclear weapons program ?

Should Israel be encouraged to attack Iran ? Will that draw the US into the "war" ?

What reaction will the SCO have ? The SCO is an alliance between China and Russia along with observer states being Iran and India

(India's communist party will likely defeat the government in a vote of non confidence over an arms deal with the US of A)

The SCO will have a legal obligation to protect member and observer states if they are attacked

Venezuala China Russia and Iran along with other oil produceing nations are increaseingly cooperative and anti American viewing US military actions as a common threat to them

--------------

China is a huge creditor of the US and as such - bombing Iran will cut China's oil supply --- along with India's and Turkey's among others ---- these nations are not going to be happy with the US and or Israel if their economy comes to a halt because of an attack on Iran

  1. What are the consequences if we don't ?  That also needs to be considered.

  2. China might call all the debt we owe them thus crashing our economy not to mention if war is declared then the only trading partners we would have would be the ones we control.

also even on decline we don't want war with Russia. and a world war would undoubtedly end the human species and all life on earth.

Plus the list of what Iran will be able to do. from the antiwar website. that doesn't include what will happen when the rest of the world is forced to stop us. and stop us they must.

  3. The whole world, apart from the Americans, it seems, knows that it would be another imperialist war for control of the oil. Even though our gouvernments join in the Bush-led chorus of disapproval, they, as well as their peoples, know it, so do the Chinese and the Russians.

The Chinese might not any longer be willing and able to finance your wars - and where would that leave you?

The Russians are practically a neighbour of Iran, and I don;t think they would like it either. Egypt would be forced to close its borders with Israel, their people are pretty fed up as it is, and it's Israeel's only neighbour which it has normal relations with.  Some say that there is not much love lost between the Persians and the Arabs, but I do believe that there would be an upsurge of solidarity with fellow Muslims in the Arab countries if Iran were attacked.

All the talk about terrorists getting their hands on fissile material if Tehran gets the bomb is so much hogwash, there has been unsupervised stuff around ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Iran having a nuclear bomb is not different from Pakistan, Israel and India having it.
