To be a medical doctor,is it compulsory to take tri sci or chem and bio? can it be physics and chem instead?

  1. If you're in medical school all ready, you follow the school's curriculum. The school lets you know what's compulsory by listing a course as REQUIRED. You can choose ELECTIVES, courses that are of special interest to you.

    Tri Sci? Chem? Bio? If you're in high school or if you're in college at this point none of these courses are necessary to go to med school. Yes, you're better prepared if the courses are a part of your schooling/studies and they will make med school easier. They help you pass the MCAT, the standardized entry exam. You can gain med school admittance with an undergraduate degree in basketweaving.  


  2. You must all of the science courses, mathematics and Latin if possible. Hope this helps you out.
