To be an electrical engineer working in Apple, Sony, Microsoft? ?

I am a high school student and I want to become an electrical engineer working in Apple, Sony or Microsoft...etc? for example, inventing the next Windows system, iphone/ipod, cell phones...

I mean, do i need to get a degree in Computer Science or Business? Or attend some courses? Or just a creative mind and passion is enough? LOL... thx

Computer Science degree would be very helpful along with a creative mind.

Computer science area is what i would recomend. However, not trying to upset you or anything, it's just that working on the next windows system or iphone does sound a bit rare. but, hey prove me wrong!

Yep definitely something involving Computer Science type studies - or a combined degree with Engineering.

Unless you mean the design? It sounds like you mean the programming side, in which case you'd need some experience with software engineering, but this usually comes as part of a computer science degree anyway

I agree with the guy above me by the way - inventing the next windows system does indeed sound really ambitious, but I guess it's good that you're aiming high and you'd certainly become a millionnaire if you invented it yourself!
