To be in love or loved?

Can a relationship work without being in love? Do you think being love is over rated? Further more if one person is in love and the other simply loves that person can it last between the two or will be bring complications?

  1. I think a relationship can work without being in love, but it won't bring you the happiness that you could have had or the other person could have had, had you both been in love.  I wouldn't settle for anything less than the real thing.


  2. i don't understand. i thought in love and love were the same.  

  3. the chances arent great because god made us as quite loving creatures, and the need to be loved in return. but I suppose there are a few that a relationship can work and last the years that is based on admiration, and a relationship that is fueled by mutual understandings in important areas, such as working towards goals, career, financial success, etc... but if one of two people in a relationship is not being completely honest with themselves, and the other person, that they can " just get through it" but really need to have that in love with and passionate feelings for someone they are just setting that relationship to eventually fail. or not fail, but that means someone is staying in a relationship and is just foregoing true happiness, and is just settling for less.

  4. It's not always important to be in love for good relationship the only thing that matters the most is the caring and mutual understanding between the two and if it's there you are on the rigt track.
