I know absolutly everything about the whole deal, because I know I'm murdering animals and THATS NOT RIGHT!!! I have researched and interviewed and heck, I can answer any question about their diets. I know I would be comitted to it, so should I do it? It sounds good to me, but is there anything out there that could change my mind? If so what? Thx :)

  1. Nooo, you absolutely should NOT go vegetarian!!!!!

    You should go vegan. :P

  2. I think it's fantastic that you want to be vegetarian. You will definitely be doing a great thing for animals, the environment and your health. True we are omnivores, but we can happily and healthily live on a vegetarian or vegan diet. Don't listen to those who try to discourage you. As long as you've done your research, which you seem to have, you will be fine. Some tips I can offer to help you transition:

    - Borrow or buy a good veg cook book

    - Learn to cook for your self and experiment with recipes and new ingredients

    - Stay in contact with other vegetarians and vegans for moral support and recipe ideas

    - Stay informed about issues and news. Subscribe to an online news letter like vegan outreach or chat with other veggers on yahoo.

Good on ya for making the switch :)

  3. Vitamin tablets?

If you can't balance your own diet, it's your own choice, but the only tablet that everyone should take is B12. There is no nutrient that vegetarians have more difficulty with than meaters.

Marshmallows contain gelatin from slaughtered animals. Vegetarians do not consume slaughter by-products.

  4. you can't eat marshmallows if you're vegetarian because it has geeltin which comes from animal fat.

  5. Its great that you are making an informed decision, if you wish to become a vegetarian - and you have already researched the topic yourself - there should not be anything major that a person can tell you to change your mind.

  6. we were meant to eat meat. some animals were put on this earth as food. you would be missing a lot of vitamins and nutriants only found in meat. also . i had a friend who was a vegitarian and she couldnt get pregnant.

  7. i think u should do what you think is best then maybe they wont kill as many animals when they relize how many ppl are against it. i so wish i could go vegitarian but i cant i dont know how plz help me

  8. To be!!!!!!!

lol. Its worth it and not as hard as it sounds. Go for it!

I'm pretty sure all marshmellows have gelatin (animal fat) but you could probably find some vegan ones that would be gelatin free.

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Humans are by nature omnivores, so your going to be changing your natural diet to other things.

Animals will always be murdered, the actually killing isnt that bad unless its Kosher. Takes under a minute.

I would have a lot more reasons if your a guy, such as the dangers to men, but women require less meat

Edit: Vianka, snakes eat their young. And Lions eat Gazelle

  10. For mom: if some animals were put on this earth for food, then why do they feel pain and fear and why do they nurture their young and show affection and gentleness?

I think one should become a vegetarian for health reasons first and secondarily to boycott the cruel treatment of animals raised for food.

  11. You will not have to take vitamin tablets.

By bieng veggie you will get more nutrients etc. than when you ate meat.

Check out both the sites below. Both have plenty info and tips on going veggie.

  12. You don't have to become a declared vegetarian really. If you don't want to eat meat, then just remove it from your diet. But if you do still enjoy a nice steak on rare occasions you won't have to justify it. So eat the diet you want, but don't paint yourself into a corner if you don't have to.

  13. It's your decision to make, but I would go for it!! Adopting a vegetarian or vegan diet is a very powerful way to reduce animal suffering. Vegetarians prevent the suffering and deaths of about 100 animals per year.

About marshmallows - It can be hard to avoid gelatin because it's in many medicines and candies. You can avoid it if you want, but it's not necessary.

    Good luck!
