I am finishing my 10th grade in Germany and than moving to India, Mumbai for college, learning science. I'm half Indian and half German, I am a german citizen.

My quistion is, is it possible to become a pilot when I'm studying here in Mumbai and than later when I finish my studies go back to Germany and appy for Lufthansa training so than I can become a pilot since I know german. Is this possible ??

I don't want to study in Germany so thats why I'm coming back to India.

Please does anyone here have experience with this ??

  3. Yes, of course it is possible, particularly if you enjoy the priviliges of dual citiczenship. However, getting a job with Lufthansa is much easier said than done; it is EXTREMELY competetive, so you need to excel as an academic student and pilot trainee, both physically and mentally. You should inquire with the Lufthansa employment information office regarding preferred applicant qualifications. You should also inquire to the Civil Aviation Authority in Germany about transferring pilot licenses earned in India. As you apparently already speak three languages fluently, this is a very good start toward an international airline career. Good luck.
