To become a pharmacist (chemist) in England, would i need to get a degree and license there?

How long would it take to get a degree there? And what is the average salary?

  1. It is best to contact the Chemist's groups over there and ask these questions. I know you would have to be licensed, and probably take some classes to bring you up to speed in their pharmacy skills. There are some names of medicines different than ours.  When I lived in Holland, the medicines were named differently, and also of different dosages at times.  

    Someone from England may know the answers, but you still need to contact the professionals. As to salaries, it is very expensive to live in England, so take that into consideration.  Another lovely country is Scotland. Have you considered there? Lovely people, not as much crime and terror, and wonderful country.

    My friend from Holland moved to Scotland, as a vet, and loves it.  

    Have a great move, because there is nothing like living abroad. Great experiences.
