  1. No.  All of the requirements for vision and other medical standards can be found in the current FAR/AIM, but the short answer is you need 20/40 or better, either corrected or uncorrected for a third class medical, and 20/20 or better either corrected or uncorrected for a second or first class medical.

    Also, there is no such thing as perfect vision.  20/20 is normal vision.  Some people have worse vision, some better.
