I'm now studying in Germany. I'm in the 9th grade. I studied in India till the 6th grade and than went to Germany. My point is I want to become a pilot in India but I have a german passport. I'm now half Indian and German. I heard that you have to go collage and finish your 12 grade and than you can apply for the pilot. how good you have to be in collage Do you have to be very good in Hindi ?

After the 10th grade here in germany I want to go to Mumbai, India and go there for collage and one day become a pilot there ?

So can this be possible with an German Passport ?

  1. If  u r India born  its ok or if at all u r German native, better finish

your Graduation n then come down to INDIA.By that time  lot

of improvements r expected....technology improving like

any thing.Ah better u learn HINDI also for proper under -standings.

  2. just have to speak english dosent matter where you get your licences

  3. India follow JAR regulations and therefor you can only use JAR certificates.( to the best of my knowledge )  Any certificate from Europe is a JAR certificate.

However Jar makes no requirements for the 12 grade and depending on what company you will fly for in the future Hindi language is not necessary a must. ( most likely not )

If you wish to follow your dream of becoming a pilot the only demand there is is that you are good at math, English, and physics and that you have a normal good health.

And oh yes, you need to have a lot of money.

In Europe the "average" pilot education costs about $130.000 or 85.000 euro I have no clue what it costs in India.

I do not think it will be a problem for you that you have a German passport.

All the good luck to you....
