To begin to learn drum. help?

what kind of drum should i get? i have never played drums before. and there is electric and classic drums which one should i get? and can i learn drums myself?

If you are in an apartment, obviously, you had better get the electric one since you can plug in earphones and not disturb anybody.

If you are in a house, than but a 2nd hand set on e-bay. If you get to like it, then you can always buy an electric and have the best of both world. My drummer combined the electric toms with his full set and gets all these different sounds.

electric sets are c**p. they sound really fake. get a real set. go cheap if you have to
