To built lots of wind mill to replace fuel power plant?

Is it possible to built several hundred thousands of wind mill to replace all the fuel power plant around the world. is it feasible

No, because land is scarce. And it needs to be in open spaces where the winds can be strong enough to power them.

I suppose that any thing is possible, having seen the wind farms in several places in California I am sure that they can supply a large portion of The worlds needs.

however they are not the only source of renewable energy.

There are several Geo-thermal power plants already in operation in the US, along with the increase in solar panels, and Hydo-electric plants we could easily reduce our dependence on Fossil fuel
