To call my girldfriend I have to call a switchboard first, and some rude person picks up... HELP!?

Question

Is there any way i can bypass that swtichboard? Like just typing a star number when he picks up?

And the line is on a timer is there a way to get past that?

Any help will do thanks

It wont be as easy as hitting star or pound when they answer, but the are possibilities if the have time. If you can get into an automated part of the system you may be able to bypass the switchboard. Look up the place on the internet and look for a toll free number. Hopefully it takes you to a menu selection automated service that gives you the option for "if you know the party you are trying to reach enter it now."  Good luck.
