To caribbean travellers?

Question

Have you been to Jamaica and Dominican Republic.

If so what are the similarities of these 2 places.

Someone told me Jamaica is english caribbean version of the Dominican Republic some yrs ago.

Just go to New York, Massachusetts, Florida, and now Georgia and you will find the whole population of people from the Caribbean Island living there.  You won't find too many people on those islands because they brought their Islands to their dreamland the United States and they never looked back.

Both have fantastic beaches like  Negril and Punta Cana, mountains and incredible history.  The ordinary people are great but unfortunately both have obnoxious peddlers.
