  1. 6 bags of cement , 12 cu. ft. of sand  and about 20- 5 gal. pails of gravel...

  2. Your area is approx .95 yards.  If you were having a ready mix truck delivering, I would recommend 1 yard.  If you were using concrete bags that just needed water added, you would need 39 eighty lb bags, but I would have on hand 45 bags just in case.  I hate to run short and you can always return bags not used.  If you were using 60 lb bags, you would need 52 bags. but again, I would have about 58.  Where I live, an 80 bag cost about $3.60.  So 40 bags x $3.60 each with sales tax is about $155.  A ready mix truck would cost about twice that.   But to answer your question, your mix is 1 part portland, 2 parts sand and 3 parts stone.  You would probably have the have the sand and stone delivered.  Each would probably require a separate delivery and therefore two separate delivery charges.  If you were to add up the cost of the portland and the sand and stone with the delivery, it would probably exceed the $155, in addition to the mess that it would cause by having the sand and stone dropped in your yard.  If money isn't a concern, get the ready mix truck.  Otherwise, I would recommend the 45 eighty lb bags.

  3. 1 sq yard of sand 4 bags of cement at a ratio of mix 4 to 1

  4. That's about 25 cubic feet. A yard of all in ballast contains 27cu ft plus 3 bags of cement, should complete the job.

  5. 1 cubic yard

  6. depends on the size of the bags you're buying of each.

enough to cover 1,650 cubic feet.

  7. You will require 1 tonne bag of 20mm ballast and 6 bags of 25kg of portland cement . Mix in the ratio of 4 ballast to 1 cement.

  8. i don't know where you live or what country but here in the UK we buy it by the cubic met re ..and you need two thirds of a metre ...that's 25 cubic feet approx ....which weights about 27hundredweight ...that's 2800 lbs ..as i don't know how big your bags are you will have to work that bit out yourself ...probably be cheaper with ready mix

  9. well you have to figure out how much is in ur sand bags and gravel and cement bags...

then you get a recipe for the cement and then calculate from there...

  10. all you need to do is ask the staff where you buy the cement etc...its what they do no good people just guessing
