I want to play my television's sound through my stereo.

To do this, I was told I needed an RCA stereo cable to connect the two. One end of this cable was supposed to go into my TV's 'Audio Out' port, however I don't have an 'Audio Out' port.

What I do have is an 'HPJ' inlet, 2 sets of [red, white and yellow] ports (both labeled 'In'), and a coaxial port labeled 'ANT.'

Since I don't have one of those, I apparently need to connect my TV and stereo to a VCR.

How can I do that?

---------

PS I'll also by using my PS2.

Thanks for your time!

  1. you need to make sure that the VCR has an audio output and not just RF. Providing that it does, you will need to plug the antenna into the vcr, then run the yellow video output to the television, and the white and red to your stereos input.

  2. what i did was get a connecter thing   it has a red and white cord on one side and just a ear phone piece on the other side and plug the red and white side in ur stereo and the ear phone piese in the tv and it  should work
