Question:

To cuff or not to cuff?

I'm buying my first really expensive suit and I can't decide if the trousers should be cuffed or not. It's a European designer and Europeans are not crazy about cuffs, but I'm in America and Americans prefer cuffed trousers. It is similar to this but nicer, darker fabric:

So should I cuff or not?

Style (uncuffed), or sharp, clean look (cuffed)?

  1. no cuffing dress pants unless you're at least 6 ft. tall. it can make you look shorter as opposed to the steady flow of uncuffed pants (is that a word?). so, if you're tall, that's fine, but remember you can look slender, and much taller without cuffs. then again, some people can't resist cuffs. but, i say no cuffs!
