  1. The volley is thrown by one team to the other the hit (not the throw over) is the first hit, then the thrower makes the second hit, then the team who made the first hit makes the third hit and that hit must go over. That is how a volley works.


  2. When you get out of grade school they don't play that way anymore.  But if I think back it was three.

  3. in deciding who serves first at the tournements i got to the ref tosses a coin n it is called in the air

    so lets say the game is between teams a and b the ref tells team a to call the toss in the air the ref tosses the coin team a calls heads and the coins lands on heads team a will get to decide serving or receiving n the call of the toss was wrong team b will get to decide wheather they want serve or receive

    ... usually in games there are 3 hits per side n that can last a while the volley continues until there is a violation if team a makes the violation it will be team b's serve and vice versa
