I'm 17 and will be traveling to Sweden alone. I'm from an EU country, will there be any problems, or will I be allowed entry? Also, what are the hotel regulations in Sweden? Do you have to be over 18 to check-in, and how strictly is that adhered to?

  1. It's no problem to visit Sweden, if you have a EU passport. There are no hotel regulations, but you probably need to pay in advance.

  2. No, there's no problem with you entering the country as long as you have your passport obviously.

Regarding the hotel, they don't really check for your age, but if you're foreign then you often have to leave your passport number and then they can see your age in your passport. Easiest is to ask the hotel I guess.

  3. Tell clearly your nationality and then you can expect detailed and comprehensive answers.
