To everyone: Ghosts, Magick, Witches & ETC?

Question

I find myself having to skip through a bunch of answers that are not answers at all. If you are going to open your mouth (or type something) at least make it worth everyone's time. Show us that you put a little effort into the question or tell us Why/How you came up with your answer.

Especially under MAGICK and GHOST questions there are a handful of people answering "There is no such thing". Well that's acceptable and GREAT! I'd love to hear you out but you don't tell the querent anything at all!!!

Okay so they don't exists but why don't you reassure them WHY Ghosts or magick does not exists. Show them the actuall proof and provide the information for them to futher seek the subject out entirely.

You just took up space by stating something that is NOT backed up by any other information. I don't know if you are all just looking to gain more points because you are bored and have nothing to do or if you're just out to step all over other people's beliefs.

I don't know about any of the rest of you but I find it completely annoying to see people answer with no answer at all and putting others down.

So my question is...

Why do you not supply proof behind your claims? We have testing and experiences for many of us to know that these things do exists, but I would appreciate it if you posted information to correct me if I actually am wrong. What I want is the proof. It doesn't have to be actual proof that states but at least theories on the subject that support that belief that these things DO NOT exist.

i love that you like when people say something they have to back it up with proof. here's my thing. people say that these things don't exist because they have probably never seen it in action or it has never happen to them. im not proving you wrong because i have no proof that they don't exist. i have had encounters with the dead before. people say that there are no ghosts but really there's a difference between knowing and just assuming. you cant say something you don't know about so basically they just assume. i think that the dead do contact us from time to time but some just don't think that because they haven't come in contact with a ghost so the dead just have to make them believe. if they believe then they know its real.

You can't prove something does not exist. Can you even prove that you exist? Magic, witches and ghosts are from a different plane, one directly below ours to be exact. Their vibrational energy is lower than ours which is why we can't see them on this plane, but on rare occasions they do come up. The people saying these things do not exist have probably never read up on it. They're ignorant in other words.

Shadow I agree with your rant, this place can be annoying like that. That's why I stopped answering a while back. If it's not the "No such thing" answer then it's the folks thinking they can get a reading.  I have a Question for you though. I noticed in another answer you gave. What is a "certified" witch and how does one go about becoming one?  There is a scientific study that the human soul weighs 28 grams how's that for proof?

i too have had experiences since i was a child. do i believe in ghosts,and spirits and witches and so forth. i am not sure. it has never really been proven one way or the other but i am always willing to keep an open-mind on these things and others. there are so many things in this world that we do not as yet understand. but if you look at past history there were things that people were tortured and killed for because people did not understandthem. also people were ex-communicated from their religions because of their beliefs and theories that were later proved to be correct such as the world we live being round instead of being flat. people being able to fly,gravity,people being able to live underwater in submarines,ect. these things were proven because people kept an open mind about them. i believe that if we keep an open-mind that eventually we can prove or disprove many things in this world.

i know these sounds strange but i believe that there is not a science proof that they do excist but people only happens to see them because they believe in them, you can't see when you dont believe.

many people believe in witches i think because there are witchcraft book and there are real people who do them.

but for ghosts and spirits people dont see them often sometimes they only want people see who ever they wanted or mostly people who believe in them.

i guess people who dont want to believe in them because they might be scard or think the other person is mad or they take it as a joke.

magic is not something that people can proof yet but people have got different thoughts so go for what ever you believe in.

for me i believe in ghosts and spirits and witches i have seen them before and i know a friend who is a witch but really not everyone believe in them and can explain why.

I totally agree. If you dont believe these things then go to a different section. (Same thing happens in the pregnancy section) These 14 year olds start typing thinking its funny. But really its quite annoying. Show some tact at least.

I believe most people would argue that the onus is on one to prove that something DOES exist as opposed to something that DOES NOT exist.

It goes back to the age old question.  Does God Exist?  The greatest Spirit to mankind.

Most would argue that a higher power does exist by virtue of our very existence but others ask for SOLID proof to quantify the answer.

Do we know everything?  I would say not.  Life is a lesson in learning.

Now-a-days it is hard to prove anything exsists. People will say photos and videos are edited, which in some cases are true, but what about the few that it is actually real? They get discredited because some other person created a false one? And just because fakes do occur, does that mean there isn't anything real? I believe that untill someone has experienced something for themselves, they are going to just assume that everything isn't real. Just like someone who has had experience in the matter will swear by it, just as I do. I have no physichal proof of what I have seen (i.e. ghosts) or what I have done (i.e. spells), that would just make someone who has no belief suddenly agree with me. But what I can do is give people explanations of my own personal experiences and possibly try to help explain theirs. And when it comes to spells, silence is the best key. So how can you prove that a spell you cast worked, when the whole point of casting is to not let someone know? And when an illusionist, such as Criss Angel or David Blain, are outed and their illusions broken, most just say, "See magic isn't real." But it wasn't magic, it was just an illusion, that's why they are called illusionists.
