To follow AFL for first time.?

Hi all.

I am a 44yr old g*y guy and always followed NRL. Now that my favourites have all headed to overseas footy I thougt it time for a change. I have a new straight friend that follows AFL but as a g*y person who acts pretty straight, how do I choose the best team for me to follow. I live in Brisbane OZ.

Do i follow the team of best looking or how do I find what to look for. Any help appreciated.

for a g*y guy like you id suggest you barrack for COLLINGWOOD because the have the black and white army but they also have the pink army ,which are a group of g*y supporters that follow collingwood around -plus collingwood need as many g*y supporters that they can get.

I'm finding it hard to take you seriously considering you are a NRL supporter and they have been complete f****heads in this category.

My answer would be Brisbane Lions or West Coast Eagles, lots of pretty boys in the teams.

If I was g*y and had to choose, It would have to be Sydney Swans. Sydney as you would know, is the capital city for the g*y community.

I have many friends who are g*y and proud of it, they follow Sydney, because of that reason.

Since you are in QLD, give the Lions a try at the Gabba. Since you are uncommitted, any team is open for you.

Sorry to hear about your dreadful predicament. It must be awful with your time for a change, as you said.

The only problem with taking on a team is that you may bite off more than you can chew.

The Sydney Swans could suit your orientation, because of the close proximity to Oxford Street.

I'm a bit concerned about the 44years, as you may need to think about settling down, rather than just window shopping.

Umm I dont think your sexual preference really matters when choosing. Id say choose tthe team local to you. So basically Brisbane Lions would b a good choice.

Well its a pity that Matt Primus isnt still playing, he was a huge pin up boy for g*y blokes. He played for Port.

Anyway, I reckon you should go for the Kangaroos. Their future is in jeapordy, and they need all the fans they can get, be they g*y, straight, bi, Tasmanian, whatever.
