  1. that is not how it works, but i say go for it. get as many as you can, posting it on the net is a good idea. find out who runs the network and send it to them. if their ratings have gone down since they changed (which is how it works), it could make a difference.

way to be pro-active insted of just whining.

  2. Since this is not a legal petition, you can have as few or as many signatures as you want. Of course, the more signatures you have, the more likely they will be to listen.

You can't force them to do anything no matter how many signatures you get. It's a private business that makes their own decisions. They don't even have to listen to you. It is a courtesy that they may extend to you. Remember that if they offer to hear your ideas.

    .

  3. even 10,000,000,000 signatures could not force them to change

They are free to broadcast pretty much anyting they want as a cable company

  4. legally?

there is no law that says a cartoon channel has to put a show on if some 14 year old gets a certain number of signatures on a petition.

  5. There is no law that requires private television networks to change their shows because of a petition. Cartoon Network may have a company policy that they will do so if viewers gather "x" number of signatures, but that is not an issue of law: it is a matter entirely between the network and its viewers.

  6. I don't know but when you put up the petition give me the link so that i can sign it

  7. You can't exactly force a television to play your preferred programming.

  8. I doesn't matter how many signatures you get...  the law can't force Cartoon Network to show anything...  all a petition might do is show Cartoon Network that there are alot of people that still like those shows and it might be worth their while to put them back on the air...

  9. Well, good luck with that. I work for a MAJOR cable company, that is just not gonna happen. You would need approximately 10 million signatures for them to even look at it, with as many viewers as they have.
