To get eye contacts ?

I would like to know if I have to go to a doctor to get eye contacts ?

I disagree with the 2nd answerer. You have to get a prescription irregardless of the fact that the contacts is color or not. Contacts are medical devices that are require by law to be fitted to the individual to prevent damage to the cornea. Contacts that don't fit properly can cause scarring and scratches. Many places wouldn't even sell one to you if you don't have prescription on hand from a doctor. If they do, it's call a black market and they can get in trouble.
