  1. No, you dont need a day pass. You can get a single ' une alleé simple' to the airport ( make sure you say which airport as there are two that serve Paris). It's around 10 euros.

Paris tends to shut down in August because all the Parisians take the month off work an go on holiday so a lot of the shops shut down however you can still do the normal touristy thing like the Eiffel tower and Notre Dame etc. Dont miss out going to Montmartre. You'll be able to see the Moulin Rouge over there as well. It's my favourite place in Paris.

If you go to the town hall ( hotel de ville) you'll be at the start of the beach of Paris ( Paris plage). Basically every August, they make the banks of the Seine  into a long beach and they have loads of fun activities going on.

Anything else you want to know e-mail me. I have been living here in g*y Paris for the last five years an i knwo it pretty well.

    Have fun.

  2. RER line B.  You need a zone 5 ticket.

  3. One trip on the RER takes you to the heart of Paris, the Champs E'lysees.
