another question, i got my temp. license a year and a half ago, i was reading a guide and it said that i need to have the temp. license for at least six months before i can apply for a real license, when i go to get my temp. again, will i be able to go through the classes, pass the tests and apply for the real license in less than six months because technically i will have had a temp for more than a year?

  1. only know your SS number...no proof is necessary of social security numbers anywhere..just apply for your permanent license ASAP...

  2. you'll want to bring your card:  it's for identification.  anyone could know your number but only you should have the card.

i don't think that you'll need to take any tests again...it's just like renewing your license, but it's just a permit(i think that's the word you were looking for rather than temp?).

along with having your permit for 6 months, you will have also needed to have a certain amount of time practicing driving during the day and night.  unless you're over 21.
