To go home tonight... or in the morning?

Question

My hubby and I are making the two-hour drive home this weekend - to see our families and go to a local festival.

We can't decide if we want to leave in the morning or if we want to go home tonight - if we go tonight - there is a decent concert at the festival, but we don't want to spend our entire weekend there. Also, we'll miss a big movie thing here...

But if we wait til in the morning to go home we'll miss the concert...

I just can't decide. Help! (and no "this is your decision" stuff, cause I know that already!)

If you wait until morning, you get more relaxation and peace before making such a long drive. But, if you drive home tonight, you'll be tired for the movie anyway. I say wait until the morning!

I would say go home in the morning, life is too short, I would spend it with your families if I were you, you are going to have a wonderful time, so enjoy it!!

You do not want to regret leaving early from your families place when  you have nothing going on back at home, right??

So, spend the night, live, laugh and enjoy!!!!!!

Go Home in the morning.  The less you have to deal with the families, the better.

Just leave early enough to get to the concert.  It's only 2 hours.

Easy. Toss a coin for who's driving and whoever is driving doesn't drink so they don't get done for DUI. But whoever gets the short straw is owed big time by the other.

I have wrestled with this same question many times.  I have found that the best option for me normally is going early in the morning.  This way, you get to sleep in your own bed, and get a good nights rest.  Also, if you leave early, you can show up and still eat breakfast with your family.
