To grade paper money, who would I send to?

Looking for information on where to send older paper money to get a cerftified grading. Thanks. Will give +10 to whoever answers

  1. I would not mail money to anyone regardless of age. You prob will never see it again.

    YOU can take it to some coin dealers in your area and ask for a quote if they want to buy it, but I would not give it to anyone.


  2. Most of the bills I have seen graded were graded by Paper Money Guaranty. Here is the contact page from their website:

    An alternative is Rare Currency Grading Service. Here is the contact page from their website:

    Obviously if a bill is valuable enough to pay for a certified grading it is valuable enough that you want to protect it in transit. I suggest you contact the service to determine the best way to do that.
