To have a dream about letters?

when someone says they'll write to you but in the dream its a different person but its a sad letter

sadly, the only thing that i can think of is that you will be receiving sad news from far away soon.

Can't really say you'll receive a sad letter. If you do, it's just a coincidence even if it's just a regular letter. Dreams don't really tell us the future, if it does, a lot of people will have their teeth falling off, floating in the air, just about the things are people asking about dreams...

Dreams are sometimes a symbol of our waking life or sensory memory that is being activated (happy, sad, crying, fear...).

It can also be what we sometimes anticipating, thus, when it comes to be, we think it was fore told in our dreams. When it is just the same as when we are thinking about it during our waking life.

Maybe you're just anticipating a letter or it's just a dream.
