To have a number divisible can it have a remainder?

so divisble numbers can't have remainders?

  1. if you want the answer as a whole number, then there can be no remainder.

    but if you dont care what kind of a number it is than it can have a remainder


  2. if someone say it its divisible they most likely mean with out remainders

    which means no remainder allowed

    and fyi you can't divide by 0 because its "in violation of mathematical axioms"

  4. When a number is described as being divisible by another means that it works completely such as 9 is divisible by3.

    8 is divisble by 4.

    If there could be all numbers could be divisible by any other.
