If you click on question # six it shows that two 6 volt batteries in series equals 12 volts or two 12 votls batteries in parallel equals 12 volts.

Series increases the volts, parallel increases the amps.

  4. In series. Parallel would give a longer battery life with the same voltage output.

  5. You must connect them in series(I dont' know if this the right expression in english)to obtain the double of voltage.

If you want to increase the intensity( in amperes) you must connect them in parallel.

    I hope this  helps you...

  6. series.

    (as opposed to parallel)
