u can record video output from a DVD,CABLE,Dish...External camera,nnn u can even brodcast it as ur webcam..

and it has no connection with ur TV..it has an inbuilt tuner which can tune cable Tv channels..

yes. ur TV tuner will convert ur electrical signal from the cable in to picture & Voice signal which are displayed in the screen. For the electrical signal, u need a cable connection.

To use a TV Tuner Card you need a cable TV or antenna (either coax connections) going to the back of the card.

Otherwise the TV Tuner is a worthless card in your system.

ya u certainly need coz the channels can not *** with out a cable connection or u have some dish or tata sky some thing like that otherwise it is not posible
