  1. Although I am normally a person who uses vinegar and baking soda for most tough cleaning jobs, I find for my BBQ the Zep Stainless Steel cleaner is so much better.  Our grill is used almost every night during the summer, it has a side burner and grease and food particles splatter all over the place sometimes cooking in place on the metal.  Zep removes the grease without smearing, you just spray it on let it foam up to loosen cooked on foods and wipe it off.  It leaves a residue which is food safe and makes it easier to simply wipe away grease and food so that I really only have to do a heavy duty application once a week.  Our grills and cooking surfaces inside are cast iron so we just use a metal brush before and after every cooking and use a half of a lemon coated in salt to get burned on food off.

  2. I would just wash it like a car,and wax it,cause that wont hurt it,but she'll shine like new   http://mothers.com

this is what i use, nothing can top it,you can call all the local auto stores and see if they have it,most will, mothers waxes and cleaners are top of the line, you can bank on that.

  3. wipe it with a damp cloth and white vinegar, it will take care of finger marks , stains and grease. And on top of that it 's also environment friendly.

  4. In Greece we use lemon to clean our barbecues. Cut a lemon in the middle and grid the steel with its kernel. You need to try a lot, but it worths it! I promise your BBQ will shine as much as a new one!!
