why do you think in your opinion haper lee never wrote another novel after this world classic?

If you've heard the expression, "They broke the mold after they made..." then you know that some things just cannot be topped, so you may as well not try.  Her best friend, Truman Capote, never wrote another book after "In Cold Blood," and neither did Nell. (Harper Lee's real first name)

no....shes an author...she loves writing.....theres got to be another reason

perhaps she never found the inspiration to write something as good as tkam again

I think Harper had a story to tell... a story that she knew very well... and so she wrote it.  Once she got it right, printed and done, she was probably happy to move forward.  

Does it mean she has less talent?  Not at all.  She simply did it, and that was it.
