ok, so i had this summer assignment to read to kill a mockingbird. i am done w/ it, but now i have an essay to write. the prompt that i chose is: (this is what it says on the prompt paper) "In To Kill a Mockingbird, the "mockingbird" represents the idea of innocence. to kill a mockingbird is to destroy innocence. a lot of characters in the novel can be identified as mockingbirds-innocents who are harmed through contact with evil." so, now i need to choose three characters and show how each could be seen as a "mockingbird." i'm sorry if that didn't make sense. if anyone has ANY ideas or helpful ideas about what i could write about, please let me know! thanks for any helpful answers. :)

i think i understand what your trying to say but i&#039;m not sure. but anyway i was thinking you could right about how Mr. Underwood in his editorial on Tom Robonson&#039;s death evoked the symbol of the mockingbird. i&#039;m nto sur eif that helps but i hope it does.

and p.s. that was only one part of my assignment, i also have to write an essay, define 20 vocab words, then define 20 more that you dont understand, chapter summaries, and lessons each character learns throughout the book. ahah yeah i just thought i should mention that.
