  1. anywhere out

  2. either america or europe.

but i wasnt born in nz, so i guess thats why i dont strongly associate it with "home"

  3. Probably Argentina as I have a very good friend who lives there and we have been mates for years.

It is also a country that I have always had a fascination with. The people, culture and history really interest me. In saying that I would most likely stay for a limited time as I have always been drawn back to good old Aotearoa! No matter how I try to move and settle in Australia ( and I certainly have tried quite a few times) I cannot help myself and am drawn back everytime.

Everyone has to do whats best for them and there lot and I say good on those who move and make another country there own. For me its always going to be New Zealand.

So I marvel and smile each morning as the sun dawns over a brand new day in PARADISE!

  4. id quite like to live in Japan, its a completely different enviroment and culture.

  5. NZ is great, but I guess aus, since I lived there for couple of years and I quite like it there.

  6. Im living in Switzerland at the mo and think constantly about how awesome NZ is. I'll stay here a bit longer for the travel and pay and then will definitely move back to NZ!

  7. San Francisco - love the way of life there.

  8. Ive done a fair bit of travel and I loved learning about new and interesting countries/cultures and how another lives, however I got homesick, Im too laid back to be anywhere else or live in another culture/enviroment for long...... NZ is where I want to be and I would not want to move anywhere else except perhaps out to the countryside on a lifestyle block......

  9. I wouldn't move overseas permanently for all the tea in China. You'd have to force me at gun point to do that. Even then I still wouldn't budge.

  10. Sorry this is not an answer, but I find it amazing to see that NZ-ers are so fond of their country. Ask that question to the Brits in the UK and you will get quite a different response.

  11. I live in Brisbane and I've always wondered about going to Canada.

  12. i would love too live in brazil, it is so exotic there everything is.

  13. NZ 4 LIFE CUZZIE!!!!  There may be a lot of beautiful countries in the world and a lot to experience out there but there aint no place like home.  Aussie would be good because of the money, but I would always move back.  So i say i wouldn't move either

  14. i'd move to australia.

  15. definetly not! New Zealand is home for me, i've travelled to 13 other countries and it was the best experience of my life because coming home again made me realise that NZ really is the best country in the world.

we have no dangerous or poisonous creatures, a fantastic climate (not stifling hot or too cold though some of our homes could do with better insulation!)

our food is FANTASTIC! we have some of the best wines and coffee in the world.

its safe, clean, we have the best, cleanest drinking water in the whole world

its great, just great and it saddens me that so many kiwis are crossing the ditch just to earn a bit more but then probably pay a lot more for transport and rent n the big cities

so i totally agree with you!

  16. i live in sydney and really want to come back but there isnt any work for me apart from in aux and i hate auckland. i wouldnt mind living in tasmania though

  17. I lived in Sydney for 3 years but came back.  It's just not my culture & was too hot & humid, racist, sexist, obnoxious rude people (well at least in Sydney & Queensland), too many huge South American cockroaches that were immune to fumigation, guys were too oversexed (was always being hit on, including by men double my age with wedding rings on).  I don't care if we can earn more money over there, money aint everything & I've also lived in Canada & done heaps of travelling, but I'd never live anywhere other than here.  We are so lucky to live here for a vast number of reasons.  Why would we want to leave when so many people are looking to emigrate here because it's so great?
